    Is that your car at Cooper in NYC? Saw it on ebay, good luck if it is a consignment; better yet if they have taken ownership.

    Its a hard color to sell no matter what condition its in...

    I did my best at preparing it for a super sale, just no one wants that year or color...

    Congrats on the sale. I would be shocked if they get anything near what they are asking, regardless of it being a survivor. That color is very regal for a XKE and I happen to like it, but you are right not the color most prefer.

    tough to get seriers 1 money for a series 2.
    agree, color is bad.
    all those hardtops were black, never body color. even the later v12's had black hardtops.

    Looks like a very nice car but a Series 2 in Sable is probably worth more like $70K.
