Should be somewhere around 355 type performance
Final electrical check to undertake, and then prime engine, fluids all in. Hopefully fuel pump timed in ok. Also got a new pedal box kit kit as was not over happy with the slightly long brake pedal travel, to cut and weld up talking about £100 so not a big issue. Well done Simon. Firing her up will be a big day! I hope there'll be an opportunity to see the car running next year.
almost certain, will, need a session on the rolling road to set up the final fuel cam for the injection and then a bit of time in the paint shop to sort out the few bits and bobs plus decals.
Not yet, had a minor fuel leak to resolve, but we have oil pressure, sparks and fuel supply just waiting on a new fitting and we should be ok, bit frustrating but that's how these things go sometimes.
It lives, fuelling a bit rich but it starts and runs, will get a video posted up in due course. Fuel cam will need to be developed now to get in running correctly. Not as loud as I thought it would be either considering minimal silencing it has.
Sorted out throttle linkage so now have the correct 60 degree sweep on the fuel pump, next job is to book rolling road and Mike from Lucas Development to get the fuel cam figured out. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
A few finishing up jobs being completed, new water pump pulley and more substantial v belt allows a lower belt tension, new under-trays covering the tanks, just the rear under-tray to bolt on (so will have flat underfloor front to rear), just waiting on a P clip now to secure oil line clear of anything (every size but the correct one!). Front brake cooling ducts also in place. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Fantastico! Have been following your thread for a long time. It'll be very exciting to hear that it's running.
Engine tray now added plus tow loop, panels off for re-painting at the rear of the car. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
