Anyone mulling this over should really consider it. I wasn't sure I really wanted to try my hand at driving on the track, but what a great day!
Sorry, forgot to add that it was at Waterford Hills in Clarkston, MI. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Call it a bunp, but if you are coming to the track day register asap. We really have to have 21 cars so we can break even!! The event includes lunch and instruction from Danny Kellermeyer from DJ Racing. This is open to both Ferrari's and NonFerrari's.
have you considered talking to the lambo guys to join. I would call Richard Bell over at the lambo dealer to see if he would be interested.
Just a reminder that the track day is coming up. If you are planning on coming and have not registered please do. We stil have a few spots left that we need to fill so encourage anyone you may know to join us. Track day is open to any brand of car. Thanks
I'd like to go, but unfortunately I haven't got around to getting new wheels and track tires yet. Should be fun. Enjoy.
Come on out, I am running street tires. You don't have to have slicks. You can drive at your own pace. Hope to see you there.
I've already done one hard track day on the road tires and used a lot of rubber. I don't want to do it again because I need these for regular daily driving and they are kind of expensive at $400-500 a piece. Easier and better to just have a set of track dedicated tires. Will need my brakes for Gratten in October too.
Well, they don't sell the tires I'm looking for (Toyo R-888), but my main concern right now is finding some wheels. Tempted to go with another set of OEM, but not sure. Looking for cheap, light, performance wheels, if that makes any sense. No fancy designs or finishes. I'm tempted to send Quattro an email and inquire about what wheels they are using on the R8 GT3.
The wheels on the car I've seen pictures of are OZ. However, they are center locks and I can pretty much guarantee they won't be cheap, so I don't think you will want to go that route. Greg A

Just a quick thank you for all who attended the Waterford hills track day! We had a safe and spectacular day. Hope to see you all and more at other track days in the future!!
