OK OK OK I know this is NOT a Ferrari but you guys are car geeks and I know some of you will know what this thing is. It has a canvas soft top, suicide doors, rear engined (maybe air cooled), probably Eastern European. So what is it?
For those that must see photos of Ferrari we went on a drive last weekend so you can see photos of "proper" cars here.

Yes, but this one was easy!
You will get the same response-time when you post a picture of a Ferrari 250 exhaust-tip, including body/engine/chassisnumbers, previous owners and some incredible stories. :)

Very cool little cars those Vespa's!

They are indeed cool. Very pretty. I checked them out on the net and there are great photos of people using them as wedding cars etc. And yes the people on this site are amazing. It never ceases to amaze me when people post some weird photo and whithin minutes someone has identified the car, owner, history etc etc. An absolute great resource. And the people I have met have been fabulous. A friend from Australia is currently in DC with Fchat friends and being looked after visiting the Alfa show etc. A great community.

It could also be a Fiat Bianchina, the two are very hard to parse. I traded a 57 Fuel Injected Corvette for a Bianchina (and some cash) in 1967 before I joined Genghis Kahn Johnson's Army. It was a blast, and the root of one of my more undistinguished traffic citations: "....operating a motor vehicle within a premises that dispenses alcohol............." M

The side profile of the Vespa is very similar to the Autobianchi, but there are numerous detail differences. The picture is a Vespa.

    As a Vespa 400 owner, I agree - that's a Vespa.
