Just had a thought - what happens if new evidence pops up that McL DID actually make use of the technical info from Ferrari. Now the threat from FIA, should this happen, was that they'd be withdrawn from the rest of the season and probably 2008. So they'd be making the ECUs and not actually taking part in F1? :D

Anyone who has done an install on Windoze can tell you about "microsoft minutes".

But they're introducing an "expanded" specification for "time".
(Much as they "expanded" the specs for kerberos and ftp and ...)

F1 2008 will no longer be compatible with Tag-Heuer timing. Only Microsoft stopwatches will be supported.

The races will run in "virtual time".

But look on the bright side -- the spec tires won't slide around on all the memory leaks. ;)

Another thought: If MCL designs the ECU based on their car, which is based on stolen Ferrari data, wouldn't the ECUs be perfect for Ferrari, then? :D
