Someone in my office just dropped off an article about microsoft teaming
up with ferrari to have microsoft software control the dummy lights and such
in the new ferrari.. I don't have the article in front of me.. but will post where
it came from tomorrow.. If ferrari really does this... they truly are ruining
    their cars!

That may cause problems, becourse i hear ferrari were in talks with Apple, somthing to do with incar ipods. No doubt each company will infect each others programs, and the car stopping every 10 mins asking if you want to update soft wear.

Okay folks.. The article is in the 4/11/05 issue of CRN - www.crn.com
on page 76 in the shadowram column. The email of the guy that writes it is
[email protected]. Here is the exact verbage from the article.

"A reported deal to put Microsoft's technology into a Ferrari is a tad puzzling, however. A little European birdie says that project is proceeding. No, windows won't actually run the engine, but it will drive the idiot lights that blink when something goes awry. One has to ask: Is Windows ready for this road test? Insert your own joke here about rebooting a $200K+ roadster every mile or so."

After reading this.. all I can say is all the models pre this downgrade will go up in value!!

Very soon you can buy 1-year subscription for our "Anti-Virus for Scuderia Ferrari" product for 20k USD. It comes in three version: coupe, spyder and 2+2. It will protect against mobile and land-based threats and adds a personal firewall to the car. It comes with web-based automtic updater.
