    A week ago Mseals announced his stay in Holland. As a (junior) member of the brotherhood I just had to meet him. So I arranged a gathering in Rotterdam. Mike's requests were simple: porc and the yellow liquid brew Holland is known for.

    We met at a McDonalds(!), took a look at my car (terrible weather so we didn't take her for a drive), did some minor sightseeing in Rotterdam and then had a simple meal with five other F-chatters and had a great time. ´Mid sized´ Mike has some great stories to tell. We agreed on his car to be a 354. We ate lots of porc! Today he left by train(!) for Belgium.

    I think this is wat F-chat (the brotherhood) is about. Making friends!

    I tell everyone this...

    The F-Chatters in Holland sure know how to show someone a great time...

    I've got a number of photos, which I'll post when I get back to Kuwait, but I will say this...

    348Holland (Gijs), is a great guy... we went to see his 348 (which is still in storage for the winter), and I have never seen a cleaner, more complete example of the 348. It looks simply amazing. F-Chatter Fumacher was with us, another great guy... Gijs has an original luggage set, plus a soft top for the removable panel (factory), as well as the tool kit, etc., and obviously takes EXTREMELY good car of his car...

    As he said, we're all not really Ferrari 'owners' so much as we're 'custodians' or 'care-takers' of the car... And he takes his responsibilities very seriously.

    The beer flowed freely, and the spare ribs were great! Just a great 'boys night out' .... I really enjoyed everyone's company, and appreciate the guys all coming out to meet me.

    As the Arnold once said.... "I'll be back"!!!

    This could be a nice compliment but have you ever seen another one? You told me yours is the only 348 in Kuwait and we agreed that it's actually a 354. So....

    looks like a great time...

    you know what is great about the brotherhood and Fchat in general.. i bet if i took a business trip anywhere, i could track down an Fchatter that would go grab some beers.. awesome!

    Ok, here's the story....about 'mid-sized' Mike...

    While in Amsterdam, the Brotherhood Cap and I were staying at a rather posh hotel called the Krasnapoloski, just next to Damm Square and the Palace.

    As I was checking in, a rather tall, and large, man came in and announced, very forcefully, that "Little Wayne" had arrived, and was checking in... and told me I would have to wait.

    I told him "Well, first i don't know who 'Little Wayne' is, but he's going to have to wait because 'Mid-sized Mike' got here first." He started to get into it with me when someone, apparently 'Little Wayne' came up and said "This ain't no thing..." Apparently 'Little Wayne' is a Rap Star of some prominence... who knew? (not me....)

    Afterwards the bodyguard came up to me and apologized, gave me his business card, and said he was just 'doing his job.'.... I told him not to worry about it...

    So, I guess the moral to this story is that the 'little' guy doesn't always win...sometimes the mid-sized guy does...

    Mike "leaving Brussels tomorrow, and still not" in Kuwait...
