Well, it's time again to offer up my shack to lovers of fine autos, pilots, musicians and anyone else within sound of my voice(electrons).

What: Pool party, beer, BBQ, wine, salad, music, lie telling, swim, dive, float, dancing(not me), Porsche, Ferrari, Jaguar, Lamborghini, and others on the grass.

    When: August 9th, 2008.

Where: Aledo TX, map to be provided in future release.

    Who: Everyone invited. Family friendly.

Why: Cause we're not getting any younger, and August is swim month.

Hopefully, this year we won't have any 'swimsuit malfunctions'. Mark your calender, and come on out by the Pecos and have a nice time. We have shade over the pool for the really white folk(like me).

Gratuitous bump. Just a reminder, Aug 9th. I put up the pool shade today, man what a difference. I can lay out in the water for a while and not worry about getting baked to a crackely crunch. My son is supposed to play with his jazz band this year, I hope he shows this time.

    Come on down y-all!

I had a lot of fun last year, but I won't be able to make it this time, I leave for Italy that day.

We are ON! Someone bring a GT4, maybe you'll go home with a Mondial Conv! hahahahaha.

Bring a drink, or slaw, or beans if you like. We'll have food and snacks and refreshments.

Go west from anywhere, exit Aledo Rd. turn left. Go past the RR tracks and the Shell station, turn right on Old Annetta Rd. Go 2.4 miles and turn left on DEER CREEK LAKEVIEW DR. Up hill, turn left on Live Oak, left on Royal oak.

    See ya Sat!

Meh, 2-ish, 30-ish, when Mia wakes up is fine.

Fiat? You would do that to me? A pilot? You're bestest buddy?

    Cold........

Bring anything you like. We've got a pretty good assortment of Chicken, dogs, and stuff. I don't like to get too organized, that takes all the fun out of my glaring mistakes.

If anyone is coming across I-30 at Arlington, check the traffic. It may be closed this weekend for bridge construction.

Hey, someone out here near Aledo has a GT4. If that is you, or if you know who it is, can you have them come out? That car looked great. I was waving like mad at them on Aledo rd yesterday, looked like a fool. :)

Hey, five second rule. I wonder who got the thigh!

Thanks to all who came out. We had a good time, the weather was fine, and I made out with a bit more beer than I started with. But don't worry, I'll make sure to keep it safe. See y'all again next mid-summer.

    Cheers!
