Saw these on IG and wondered WHY?? They had extra Gold paint so use it up on the wheels and roof calling it limited editions and they'll be snatched up??

 

Because the site is annoying with ads, here's the important details. I personally think it shows a weakening demand and a proactive response by Ferrari.

Ferrari has introduced a new special edition 296 GTB for the Middle East market. Six cars representing the six Gulf nations were presented at an event in Abu Dhabi as part of the brand’s 30th anniversary celebrations. The six Ferrari 296 GTB special editions are finished in unique colours paired with gold wheels and a matching roof. The Green car has been built for Saudi Arabia, White for the UAE, Blue for Oman, Maroon for Qatar, Black for Bahrain and the metallic Brown example is dedicated to Kuwait. Inside, the 296 GTB special editions get Beige Honolulu leather upholstery with Gold Metallic leather accents, gold Prancing Horse logos on the headrests and a frunk lined in expensive leather.

Possibly, but if demand is that weak why am I and many others unable to order new. I'm deep on now what I assume to be a dead waiting list.
