Hi Folks, I live in Columbia NE, and was wondering if a few of us in the area would like to have an informal Ferrari Group, say Midlands Ferrari Group. Maybe arrange a lunch get together, or drive, or a tire kicking session. I'd be happy to have the 1st get together at my place.Any thoughts, you can email me, or post here.
Danny, I sent you a private message. Let's get it started, a driving-destination club would be great. Let's go. Motor Supply said they will put out the cones.
Someone else from South Carolina owns a Ferrari???? It is nice to see the SC guys getting together. NC and GA owners are having all the fun!! I think an SC based club would be awesome. I am not in Columbia, but maybe I could come down from Greenville on occasion. Maybe I could arrange something in the upstate from time to time???????????"? -Jay
That'd be cool Jay. It'd be nice to not travel to have all the fun in the F-cars for once. I think I must have gone to NC 5 times in like 6 months haha.
Danny, I think it going to be great to get the Ferrari guys together here in S.C. I am sending you a note now and plan to see you saturday.W.C. our new yellow 360 owner here in columbia is planning to meet us for coffee on saturday and I will drop J David a note as well. Buddy
Buddy, I believe you met my friend Clark (white 3000 GT VR-4) and gave him a ride in your 360 at the last autocross that was in Columbia. He still talks about it when I talk about my experiences haha!
Andy, I do remember your friend and our drive. It was fun talking with some enthusiastic car guys and ladies that day. Look foreward to meeting you possibly at an event . Buddy
I'm in Charleston, but if you organize such that I have time to come up (ie no 8am meetings), then count me in. David Scott and I got to meet last night while he was traveling near Charleston and we're both excited at the possibility of getting more owners together and getting some fun drives organized.
I think that all SC Ferrari owners should get involved, from anywhere in the state. I assume most of the gatherings will take place in the midlands(hince the name), however, maybe members from other areas could arrange activities from time to time. I look forward to the first meeting!!! -Jay
Who is intersted in a first criuse before Christmas? What about Lake Lure and Chimmney Rock? Not all that far and a great drvie! Bring your wife, girlfriend or both, and plan for lunch. Or even just up to Cesars Head and Brevard, then up 215? Lake Lure has the resturants and facilities, so does Brevard. If the weather stays good or reasonable, why not this or next weekend. Anyone intersted, let's go. Since I have no heater, it will give me a reason to wear my OMP drivers suite! Just kidding guys. Post a phone number so we can coordinate. PS: You guys have got to go see Charles Perry in Summerville, if you are not a member of FCA, join. The Diablo looks great next to the TR and Spyder.
I can't do the 11th as my girlfriend is running a mini-Marathon and I'm committed for moral support. Other than that, I'd love to go.
There are plenty of Ferraris in SC. We have 27 member households in the FCA Southeast roster that live in South Carolina. I know that some of them have multiple Ferraris. And of course there are other Ferrari owners that aren't FCA members. Mike Charness Director, FCA Southeast Region www.fca-se.com
