good to hear that lupe!
Night is great for stealth. But it works both ways. And it did. Sh#t. The Vik alarm was classic and priceless. Times Square with 5 F-cars abreast, engines revving? Priceless. Tubis, Capristo, CC's in the tunnel: incredible. The Tpk & GSP - I couldn't see you guys, but I could hear you and that was fantastic. The waiting for the verdict from those stricken....THAT sucked big time.
I just sat down at my desk here in my office and saw this thread...ouch, I felt that one even though I wasn't there with you guys. Where did they get you BTW? I'm really sorry to hear about that...hope Lupe can pull some strings.

I was poking around the NY DMV site and ran across this FAQ http://www.nydmv.state.ny.us/dmvfaqs.htm#tickets ======================================================= If I get a ticket for a moving violation in another state, do I receive points on my NYS driver license? The NYSDMV does not record out-of-state violations committed by NYS drivers in other jurisdictions. The exceptions are alcohol-related violations, drug-related violations, and moving violations committed in Quebec or Ontario. Under special agreements, traffic convictions in Quebec or Ontario are recorded on NYS driver license records and carry points. Except for violations in Ontario and Quebec, points are not added to your NYS record for out-of-state violations.
vik, call brad. he was in a similiar situation recently and got a good deal given the situation. good luck man.
Hopefully with Lupe at the helm, there won't be a need for step 2. I have full faith in my boy. (Crossing fingers).
First note is Geico left NJ and does not do business here. A call (without mentioning policy numbers) will tell you if they share the States' driving database where they would have access to this info. With a little luck, they won't. ALso, I'll have to look up, but it's possible to get a free "driving record" report not unlike your free credit reports from Experian et al. It's always good to know what's in there & clear up any junk that shouldn't be there. Lastly, let's all clasp hands for a Friday night seance and chant softly over Lupe's crystal Neon strobes appealing to the spirit of Enzo Ferrari for relief to the pain & suffering of our bretheren. Sorry on the last suggestion. I'm just trying to lighten the spirit of a rather grave subject.
I do appreciate your digging Clyde. I know you have our best interests are heart. All of your suggestions are good ones -- make that great ones! The situation will get resolved...eventually. I'm just PO'd that those caught will have to take it easy until it does. The runs are over till then (for us).

More so than the two punks in NJ? Maybe we should start a web site for people that get caught speeding. It's a database of badge numbers and comments about those officers... NJ State Trooper 4048: Nice guy... NJ State Trooper 3298: Asswipe, wrote me 3 tickets. Not sure what the point of the site would be, but it would be fun to watch.
