A friend of mine and I are attending the NCAA Regionals in Rosemont tomorrow. I live and work in the city, but he will be flying into Midway. At 5:00 PM. For a 6:30 tip off.

If anybody has a super secret, super fast route out of Midway, I'd greatly appreciate it. CTA is out of the question, the transfer from Orange to Blue would kill too much time. Would a cab from Midway beat the Orange Line downtown (32 minutes for the train)?

I'm currently leaning towards taking the Stevenson to the TriState, but I'm really worried about the Stevenson. Are there any fast local roads that I could use to bypass it? Or am I totally screwed?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hire a limo.
No one knows more short cuts than those guys, especially when a tip is involved.
Besides, you can have a few beers!

Well,we will miss your buddy by about an hour. We are taking a Limo TO Midway tomorrow, for a Flight to Phoenix. But,he's picking us up at 5:00PM-ish,and we won't get there until 6:00PM-ish....Otherwise,he could just take our car back. But,a Limo is definitely, the best way to go....WAY cheaper than a Cab. You don't wanna be stuck in Pre-Holiday Traffic,as the meter keeps clicking in a Cab... Take a Limo....One price,no matter what the Traffic....:) And,he will want to make the trip as quick as possible,as to get to his next customer that much quicker....Not to mention that they'll now have a car repositioned by O'Hare, which is very attractive for the Driver....:)
