I'm looking at the investor migration and am looking to make an application. Has anybody got a suggestion of an agent to use?

    Thanks in advance.

    Alistair

P.S. Do you think i should take the 430 or sell it first? Will definetly take the 997 C4S.

    re: importing your cars.
    ....do your research first.
the govt has strict criteria on importation [have you owned both for 12 months ?]
they also have a hefty fee structure.

gut feeling tells me you would be better off importing the 430 [very few here]
    ....and leaving the 997 C4S [truck-loads here]

    Hi Alistair

I have recently returned to Australia after living in the Uk for seven years, and imported my 308 GTB as well.

The best way to do it is under the Personally Imported Vehicle Scheme.

If you are intending to become a permanent resident or citizen of Oz then you can import your car under this Scheme, and it does have its advantages.
The car only needs to meet minimum safety standards to be eligible for registration. In fact I didn't have to change anything on my car.

If you try to import under any other Scheme you will have to make the car comply with Australian Design Rules and it will be expensive!

For more info call the Department of Transport and Regional Services
    on 0061 2 62747444 (from outside Oz)

    Best of luck

    Phill
