Mike, I called for you and they said you are no longer with them, please tell me its not so??????
No, I did not die, and no, my departure had nothing to do with my comments on Bentley Gold Coast. Thank you for all the calls and e-mails I have gotten from many of you wanting to know what happened to me. Simply put, it was time for a change. I don't think my departure from FVM-Lamborghini could have gone better. After the Fall Color Tour, I gave Bill my two weeks notice that I would be leaving. Being who he is, Bill said I could finish out the two weeks, or leave right then and there, or something inbetween...whatever I wanted to do. I stayed a couple more days to button up a few things. I am sure that I will be involved with FVM in some way in the future as they are great peolpe to deal with and to work for. I have been very fortunate that my jobs at both Continental and Fox Valley Motorcars - Lamborghini Chicago, turned out to be such great learning experiences as I have learned a ton from both John Weinberger and Bill Nuccio Sr. They are both wonderful people, and I thank them both from the bottom of my heart for what they have done for me. If it sounds like I'm getting out of the car business...well, yes and no. For years I have been working on Saturdays, and it was starting to eat away at me. After having the last couple Saturdays off, I realize how important that really is to me. As for what I am going to do next...I don't know. I had an exotic car detailing business before so, for now, I will get that going again as many of my past customers have been asking me to take care of their cars again. As for the future, over the years, my interests have grown into off-shore powerboats and european motorcycles, so my options are open, and I'm working on a few things so I have few things brewing. Of course, exotics are in my blood, so there is no leaving that completely! In the meantime, I will still be cheacking in on the board and you guys can still feel free to contact me anytime. See you guys around and thanks again for the concern! Mike [email protected] www.RedLineRPM.com
