    I dont know if its worse..but 15 years ago or so I was pulled over in a Porsche driving about 200 kph on a highway east of Paris. They caught me with a radar mounted on the back of a random sign..and a motorcycle cop was waiting for me a few kms ahead.

    They were seriously pissed off and had I not had a friend there to help as well as a Eurocheckbook to pay the fine, they would have impounded the car. As I remember the fine was about $1000.-

    I dont speed in France anymore.
