Lots of places in the uk offer "speedo repair" or mileage correction services ......need to be carefull..

I seem to recall reading somewhere that the mileage on F cars is also recorded in the gearbox ecu...so a dealer should be able to tell you if a car has had a "Haircut"

    Regards

    Another reason to question this.

It is one thing to **display** a different value but quite another to store it and make it stick. This demo doesn't show anything more than a update to the display, possibly temporary. Calling a routine to display a value using a plug in tool. I would be skeptical believing anything beyond this.

May be it works, maybe not. I would suspect any manufacturer would have a guard against this either in the form of a hidden duplicate value or an encrypted destination that has to be entered correctly to store and updated.

Calling a display routine seems too easy...
