What do you like in your coffee? How many cups do you drink throughout the day? I have 2 cups of coffee every weekday morning, and that's it. I'll have three cups in the morning on weekends. I'll add a teaspoon and a half of sugar. I find milk in my coffee to be disgusting. In fact, I won't drink it. I like real coffee cream in my coffee, which is impossible to find around where I live, only half and half, which is okay. In Montreal, you can buy real coffee cream anywhere - not just half and half. I wonder why I can't find any here in the USA.
I like/use both, but I voted Milk for some reason. *shurg* I use cream when I'm out, milk when I'm at home. And usually have powdered cream in the house and use it too.
You can buy real cream at just about any store here. It's right next to the half and half, but it's usually called whipping cream, not just cream. But it's the same stuff. I'm a 2% milk guy in my coffee.
I use half and half and VERY seldomly sugar. I am with you on the milk thing. If there is no Half and Half around and only powered creamer or milk I will drink it black. I was just at the Detroit Athletic Club for dinner Saturday night and they have somer pretty killer coffee. They serve it with a tray of 'coffee condiments' everything from cream to sugar cubes (brown and white thank you very much), whipped cream and the like. I drink way too much coffee on a day to day basis sometimes going through an entire Bun coffee pot by myself before noon. I have tried to cut back but get the WORST headaches. I don't do the Starbucks thing for coffee (although I am addicted to their black tea/lemonade) as I think that the coffee at Duncan Doughnuts, Tim Hortons, and McDonalds (I have been digging on their sweet tea too) is better than the coffee at Starbucks and is what about 1 eighth the price.
If you switch to milk it's MUCH better for you. It can taste different {if you usually put three or more cream in} but the benefit of switching to milk is high.
What's worse white sugar or a chemical substitute? Many people put "twin" or "sweetener" in their coffee and I don't know why. Is a chemical better than sugar? I opt to leave out both.
Though Half and Half's range is 10.5–18%, cross the spectrum of availability to consumers, Half and half actually averages 12.5% butterfat. Heavy Whipping Cream is 36% Butterfat. Light Whipping Cream is 30% Butterfat. Yet oddly, Medium Whipping Cream is 25% Butterfat, which puts it right at double nationwide average of Half and Half. Much of what you need to know about the origins of Cream...
Very interesting. How can it be that medium has less than light? Your link leads to a non functioning page.
Odd, that, aye? Tip: When you get to a page that prevented "hotlink" from automatically opening or displaying; Either hit the arrow to the right of the address bar - or - highlight the address and hit the "Enter" button. That'll show you what you've been missing.
i could only afford an old 348 Ferrari when I stopped worrying about such time-consuming questions, and started drinking coffee black. I'm saving dozens of hours a year, which helps to keep the mechanic's house renovations ahead of his neighbors. Tried giving up coffee altogether but revenue drops way too much.
