Thank God it was a one-car accident. I was worried she was going to take someone else out and possibly hurt them bad.

She has no business in IRL and furthermore I think she is homely. Danica may suck as a driver but she is far easier on the eyes than this pig.

    Yes. http://www.kraftfoods.at/kraft/images/atde1/pictures/3_2_2_Milka%20Kuh.gif
The violet cow has been the mascot of the company since the 50s or something and massively been used in their advertisments (with violet-painted real cows). There has been a study some years ago that urban kids who never left their city thought every cow was violet due to watching the Milka TV spots :D

But ugly is to the bone. She was probably a looker several years ago, but now she has clownish looks. The only reason she started yesterday's Indy 500 was because she was hot all those years ago.

I think that's a little unfair - I didn't watch the whole thing (turning left only bores me to tears) but she made a sweet move on Wheldon (who's no idiot) and seems to have a good combination of aggressiveness/smarts.

She totally deserves to be out there IMHO, and appears more than able to hold her own. [The violet cow OTOH shouldn't be allowed in pedal cars based on that display :) ]

    As usual, just my 02c

    Cheers,
    Ian

Yeah but I still got the impression that she/he's "packing" in that pic, if you know what I mean.

That once fluke-ish pic Andreas found aside, Milka is a butter face. Nice body, but her face. Ewww.

damn you guys are harsh. she's just doing want she wants to do. luckily, for what ever reasons she's able to. i've met her and spoke with her a few times and she's quite pleasant, both on the eye and in conversation. she's very dedicated to her racing. she wasn't the only one in the wall sunday and she wasn't the first either. i saw rubens and ralf hit the wall in similar circumstances. certainely she's not the best but as a rookie this year, at least she's out there trying and learning. i suppose with irl as boring as it is anything can spice it up.

I won't speak to her looks nor her personality because to me, niether should matter. but she is a bad race car driver. period. I've been on track with her and she is slow. I have friends that have driven GT cars and been held up by her in her daytona prototype.

She's got good connections to Citgo and therefore gets a sponsored ride. I'd be doing the same thing if I could. But the fact remains that many of the IRL drivers were out spoken about the concern of her coming to the series. She attracts media, which I hguess is what a sponsor wants, but don't hold your breath waiting for her to run up front...

Anyone that qualifies deserves to be there, if not her as a rookie, then no GUY as a rookie either. I'd be willing to bet Danica and Milka both would go faster than 99.9% of all posters on this website.

PS - and none of you guys would kick her out of bed (unless you are happily married).

And 10 years ago. But as Whiskey said, Milka did manage to qualify for the 500, although she did not at all show well.

Didn't Danica lead the race, and also avoid hitting anything or anyone and finish 4th in her rookie year? Compared to Milka, Danica should be WDC.

I'm pretty sure Danica spun out on a caution lap hitting someone else, knocking that guy out of the race, as well as damaging her wing. She needed to pit to get a new wing and stuff. I remember a lot of people being pissed off at her. On a caution lap of all things...

She finished 4th in her rookie year, after leading the race. Not sure when the incident you mentioned took place, but not her first time at Indy.

That's not fair because nobody on this site has the same experience as them. I'm still young enough to see if I can get to that level, being 21. I can tell you first hand though, and i'm sure you've already figured this out. Talent is one thing, finding the money to use and develop that talent is quite another! There is certainly a reason why most racing drivers, especially in the open wheel categories, come from rich families.

Like that has never happened before ?

Didn't an F1 guy take the door off of a safety car a couple of years ago ?

From what I see, she deserves to be there just like the 'lower half' of the grid does. What I mean is, if she is 'that bad', then so is the half of the grid that is behind her.
I've seen a lot of guys make boneheaded moves - Marco did, when you get down to it, but nobody is talking about that one.
