    I have already seen and read few threads but need to be sure before pulling trigger...can milky engine bay panels restored back to original shine? The Scuderia I like has all panels completely milky-white in engine bay: side panels, nourice cover and a bit air intakes too...

    Can they simply be polished or need more to be done?

    I really Do not want them like they are now...

    The clear coat can be sanded down and reapplied. While this is less expensive than buying new panels from Ferrari, it still won't be cheap. I was quoted $750 just to redo my radiator fill tank cover. I imagine pieces as large as the side panels would be significantly more.

    $750 is alot of money for working on the radiator cover alone.

    Yes, that's why I just bought an aftermarket one from Ricambi for $425.

    I had all the engine compartment carbon fiber from my 2008 Scud done at McCarbon in California last summer - perfect job - they also backed the appropriate pieces with heat shields - I believe it was about $6,000 or a little less - no problems and looks brand new
