I am hoping to make a 10 day trip next year (May) from the UK to watch the Mille Miglia Retro' and if possible a trip around Spa & the NB Ring, Italian Lakes / passes & trip round the factory then come back via Aosta valley and Chamonix.

Originally I thought of doing this by myself but since coming on here and seeing all the other enthusists I thought I would pose the question!

    Cheers

I'd be up for the MM part. If you're coming thru' France then we (the Swiss guys) could meet up by Didier and the others around Vaud. Trevi????

    Cheers

I was going to come down via Spa, NB Ring and in to Switzerland on towards the Italian Lakes and then down towards Brescia. After that head towards the Ratticosa and Futa passes and then Marenello and Aosta and home.

I'm sure we could meet up at some convenient place!

Thats actually better for me. It also means that Ton, Wolfgang and the other "northern europeans" will be along the way.

I was on the Futa and Ratticosa in may this year, unfortunately a week after the MM.

Do you know the dates for next year?
    Cheers
    Simon

    MM 05 sounds interesting!
Please let us know the date, maybe we join in for the drive from Germany to Italy?
Simon, possible you & Andrea (and the FFOS crew) could arrange something like our last Italian drive? Wow, this would be amazing!!!

This could be a good trip! The MM is on the 19/20th with scrutineering in Brescia on the 18th I think. I once stayed at the hotel on the top of the raticosa pass one year and had to sleep in my clothes it was so cold!

If anyone knows of decent hotels en-route with secure parking maybe a list could be drawn up? I also would like to have a thrash around Imola if possible - I have a good contact and maybe able to arrange a trackday there if there is enough interest???

This sounds great! We could meet at Spa and drive on to meet Roel, Wolfgang, Simon and others along the way.
But..... when is it exactly? Is it in May?

Maybe Marc and Mark will also join us. And Eugenio could meet us in Italia!

@ Geoff, nice trip you're planning here! I'm sure it will be great! Too bad I can't join yet 'caus I don't own a Ferrari yet...:(
But the European owners in here are great people! Have you seen the pics and story about their most recent trip to Andermatt in August 2004??? It's a must see! Have fun and enjoy your 328 :D
(edit; here's a link to the Andermatt thread http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28705)

Thanks! Hope we can get some more interested. Does a trackday at Imola sound interesting - do you think we could get enough to attend?
