Congrats!
Great you guys, congrats! So now we have a tangible connection from the forum to the event, which will make just that little more 'special'.
Thanx to all! We will make sure we will inform everyone with the preparation of the cars (and us). Julio, great to meet you and put the cars next to each other. I will email you and discuss things, ciao Oscar
Congrats guys! Will be nice to meet you in Brescia or along the route with a few other F-Chatters! Gr. Martin
Hi there! Alfa Romeo 1750 Grand Sport Touring, the car that was 5th in 1931 edition also accepted!!!!! I'll joint you!! Forza MM!!!!
Congratulations to all those who're in! Our plans of buying an Italian sportscar and driving down there unfortunately don't seem to be compatible to our budget It looks like we're going to take my '76 Celica (see pic in my profile) down there. Not exactly Italian, but at least it won't leave us stranded at the roadside! I'm looking forward to seeing you guys race your cars through Italy, and maybe say hello! Cheers, Florian
Now there's a kiss of death... Congratulations to all those who have been accepted. I'll be there as a spectator hoping for better weather than last year... Paul
Oh well, the DB2 Aston is "Waitlisted", we all know what that means....anyone need a "support car driver"?
Hope the weather is much better than last year..looking to combine leg 3 (16/5) Rome to Brescia via Maranello and Modena with the RM Auction the following day. E Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Tynelea, Sorry to hear. I was wondering how many competitors subscribed this year. Did the organisation asked you any question after you filed all the info? I did not get any email or other sign that they were evaluating the cars. ciao Oscar
Yes, I got an email asking for a picture of my brakes with wheel off (??) and an email that my FIVA Temp Card had expired....I replied that FIVA had informed me they would final inspect the car at the MM (I am in the US) and they responded that that was acceptable....I assume there is a "No" and a "Waitlist" although I really have no idea. Oh well, California Mille Miglia here I come!
If you want to run the Historic Targa Florio I can get you an entry. So far we have about 8 FCHATTERS. Web site will be updated in about a week but it's definitely on and a great event. You take the Ferry from Genoa and are met from there. http://www.girodisicilia.it/ Image Unavailable, Please Login

OK, we have four Fchatters in, and one waitlisted: Ferrari 212 Export - Oscar Ferrari 212 Inter - Julio Alfa 1750 Grand Sport Touring - Jaime Maserati 200 SI - Wolfi Tynelea, don't lose hope! I hope you make it! Aston Martin DB2 - Tynelea I look forward to meeting many Fchatters along the way. Thank you all for your congratulations and encouragement. I was thinking that each of the participants could open a thread (My Mille Miglia - 212 Inter) to talk about his or her experience. I will certainly do so, like last year. Cheers, Julio
