Im interested in learning all about the Mille Miglia. Can you recommend any must have literature or websites for researching this race?
    Thanks in advance!

    Thanks Onno,
I am very interested in the history of the race but I am also inquiring because I possibly have an opportunity to navigate with an entrant in the near future. I just want to educate myself as much as possible about its history, but also learn the ins and out of participating in its modern format.
I want to be the biggest asset possible to my driving partner. Any info you can share about running the rally, tricks to getting around, things to expect, important aspects that are just smart to be aquainted with, etc...
This historical side I will cover with books. Modern stuff and advice would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks again,
    Josh

Don't try to win, this is for the Italian and the Argentinians, who practice all winter to cross an electric cable at the 1/100th of second. Be relaxed, safe, enjoy the classic cars, the landscape, the crowd, and keep the memory of a fantastic event. Avoid to get lost, not so nice, but with the road book and the crowd, difficult to miss a turn.
I have done 5 times with 4 different cars, and nothing better than an open car, specially a prewar car as there is less traffic jam and need to speed.

Hey sorry for reactivating this post. I am trying to see if I can participate next year. In the 1000miglia experience that is since I have an f12. Any tips how to get this going? Created a profile page and waiting for announcements of course… any idea what the difference with the tribute is?

You can participate with an F12 in the Tributo to the Mille Miglia, a factory event. Apply thru your official dealer.
