Was at Miller this past Saturday dropping off some docs and spent some time with Danny M. looking at some hidden goodies behind closed doors. First words out of his mouth were: " You want to see our only allocated Aperta, just arrived!"

    Hell Ya.

Man, what a beautiful car. Great lines, interesting interior choice as far as colors go. The body color was Bianco Fuji, I believe.

I have a few Iphone snaps but the car was parked at such an angle that I couldn't get super clean shots.

Not to be a tool, but I promised not to post until the car was delivered. Hopefully, I can post up by this weekend.

No sweat! If you go back, have a look (and give Werner my regards). :)

Until then, we look forward to your pictures.

Unfortunately, Werner has pretty much retired from Miller and his replacement is already in place.

That unfortunate; Werner is a good man, and always represented that dealership with the utmost class.

So when they say "allocated," do they mean "Only one customer ordered an Aperta through us, so this is the only new one headed through our doors," or do they mean "We have enough pull with Ferrari they gave us one to sell on the showroom floor"?

I'd assume the former, but you know what they say about "assume"—it makes an @$$ out of you and me. :)

I going to assume that they meant they only got one allocation and it went to this customer who is their number one customer across all dealerships they represent. It was not RL by the way.....

Very striking paint colour but I must admit the interior isnt to my taste, it is however a very unique and bespoke choice so perhaps that needs to be applauded.

It means they had a customer who was allowed to order one. Ferrari could have sold way more than they built, so being able to order one is a big deal.

I think it has more to do with the customer than the dealer, really.

I like it. I wasn't taken by the interior at first, but the new pictures clinched it. When I cocked my head just so, I could see it. I think it works pretty well.

Nice first post Tomshop. Welcome to f-chat.

I kinda like the interior, altho those inserts are going to be a chore to keep from soiling.
Any NY boys like to chime in on that curious license plate. While it appears to be a NY (personalized) plate, NY does not have registration decals affixed to the plate...only registration info is on driver side windshield. The car has two decals(registration?) on lower passenger windshield.
any way just curious of orgin of registration.

The plate is an NY dealer plate. you can see that it says "dealer" on the bottom although it's partially obscured by the license plate frame.

I am only aware of Miller putting CT Dealer plates on their cars awaiting registration..and even then there would be a temporary registration taped to driver side windshield. Not to make a big deal of all this, but if the car was sold for a NY registration a NY inspection sticker would already have been on the cars windshield.
