June 4th? This is running on the same weekend as the CP of Colorado's 23rd Annual Exotic Sports Car Show and Concours d' Elegance. Bummer.

Great news. Thanks for going to the effort and taking the risks to resurrect this Leslie. It’s a very high end and expensive facility. If I wasn’t doing this I’d stop by the car show but for me the choice between looking at them and driving them is easy. Good time of year too, not so hot. I’m in.

Just bringing this to the top-

We need to make a decision if we are going to MMP. Heard from several that were interested, but have not seen registration. Either we are going to make it happen or we will have to cancel again.

The Indy guys are out, they can't get enough cars to run a race. I will keep you posted in the next few days if we are keeping the dates.

If you are interested in going to Miller Motorsports please sign up straight away with Leslie and please tell others you might know that are interested in track days. While Miller is a PITA to get too compared to PPIR there are some very positive things about getting enough of us signed up to ensure that this event happens:

I talked to some pro’s that were testing there this week and their comments were that it is truly one of the best tracks in the country. I haven’t been there but the facility is supposed to be even better than billed. Almost all of the corners have wide run offs. Fast, wide and safe. Having been on Pueblo yesterday, I find it hard to get to enthusiastic about pushing a car for fun to the limit when you know the penalty is shredding the vehicle or worse, rolling it. This is a place that will let you play hard and not worry as much about the gear. Pueblo and LaJunta are fun but this is a chance to get on a top flight track.

Not too hot and not too cold time of year.

As demand for the track increases, and it is, If Leslie has to let the booking go I think the ability to work with them in the future could be a bit compromised. Leslie may have a different view but that is my assumption based on my conversations with them about a membership. They seem to be really nice people managing the track BTW.

I think there are a bunch of us that want to go but because of the cost commitment on the track we can't wait and do last minute registration. So again, for the benefit of everybody that’s interested in track days, if you or people you know are interested have them sign up by the 5/15 so Leslie doesn’t have to pull the plug. Thanks.
