    No Thunderbirds or Blue Angels this year (3rd annual for a group of us to rent a pontoon boat for close-up viewing), but with an F/A-18, F-22, P-38, V22 Osprey, various piston aerobatic planes and the Black Diamond demonstration team in L-39s (but not their MIG-17 :( ) it was still a very cool show.
    Lots of sweet boats out as well, so had to snap some pics.
    I happen to love Sundancer boats, thank you very much ;)

    We rented that exact same pontoon boat for an office outing last year.

    It was a beautiful weekend for an air show.

    We were there on Sunday, but I didn't get anyics worth posting. Thanks for sharing though Kurt, I I may have to do same next year.

    That's for sure, perfect day!
    I've rented 'toons five or six times from 3 different places along the river and this was one of the better running ones with a new 40hp 4 stroke motor.

    Sure - just book the boat early, reserved ours in March and it was the last open res at Edelweiss!

    Sucks that as of this year they aren't allowing people out on the breakwater wall. In years past we tied to one of the ladders and climbed up for some REALLY close-up views, but guess the low passes made someone nervous because this year one of the police boats kicked us off :(
    Definitely rent one for the full 8-hour day vs. 4hrs. Between Barnacle Buds, the Horny Goat, various downtown-River bars and cruising through the marina and summer-fest area the time flies!
