Ebay... 1986 Ferrari Testarossa Agostini Factory Go Kart...
Ebay... 1986 Ferrari Testarossa Agostini Factory Go Kart http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1986-Ferrari-Testarossa-Agostini-Factory-Go-Kart-FAO-Schwartz-/250995342681?pt=Other_Vehicles_Everything_Else&hash=item3a707cfd59 This Ferrari factory authorized Tesstarossa "go kart" was originally sold at FAO Schwartz and Neiman Marcus stores for over $50,000 in 1986. A Ferrari "go kart" has never been offered again - this Ferrari will surely gain in value as time goes on. When you look at the specs, the term ‘go-kart’ almost seems like an insult. It’s powered by a 5 HP Briggs & Stratton motor that’s linked to a 2 speed automatic transmission with reverse. While 5 HP can’t compare to what real Ferrari engines put out, it’s still enough to push this 615 pound replica up to 30 MPH. But it’s the attention to detail that’s most impressive. Opening the hinged doors you’ll find an electric starter, Momo steering wheel, working horn, CD stereo system, gauges, dual adjustable seats and more. Walking around the car you’ll find working retractable headlights and turn signals, independent suspension and even hydraulically operated rear disc brakes. Deminnsions are 32 inches high, 52 inches wide and 96 inches long. Very comfortable for two kids. I think the guy with the mini flat twelve cylinder should buy it and install his engine. THEN it would be a true TR !!
Obviously using the interwebs as my source, so dubious at best, but I believe there were Mondial versions as well. Rare, but not to the degree as priced. Also to consider, the Ferrari licence sticker appears on all manner of things, so to be licenced by Ferrari, even if easy to prove - doesn't mean you are selling a second hand Ferrari classic. Still... will sell at highest amount a buyer fronts.

The F40 and GTO go karts are pretty bad ass. How awesome would it be to have one of those when you were growing up?
Oh MAN I would LOVE to have any one of those for my two sons. That GTO and F40 is outstanding. I would love to have that Mondial too!
Welll... The TR still for sale/ relisted here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1986-Ferrari-Testarossa-Agostini-Factory-Go-Kart-FAO-Schwartz-/250995527894?pt=Other_Vehicles_Everything_Else&hash=item3a707fd0d6
Anyone in Brisbane (Aust) or nearby with a Testarossa that needs a cruising buddy one day? Pay for own petrol, have experience driving Ferraris both left and right hand drive, and no interest in going above speed limit. Miss driving - and been doing to much hoop-jumping of late trying to raise capital to do anything fun.
I have two and i would like to have more. 15 years ago I met a gentleman on MIa mi that had 20 or 30 of these. Every model that they sold. Bert in St Augustine Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

I have a serious want for a testarossa go-kart. Like up all of the Ferrari go karts and race around Laguna seca or go to cars and coffee. I love ridiculous stuff like that. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
Hey guys.... I personally know Jonathan Schwitz, the gentleman who distributed these to FAO Schwartz, Harrods, etc. He still has 3...brand new, in the crate, in Italy. If you guys have any interest, I can gladly put you in touch with Mr. Schwitz. To be upfront, they are not going for what you see in the eBay auction... they are at collector prices. Thanks! Have a good day
