I don't know if Gary and his team reads this website, but I am thrilled with the work done on my '86 328. I dropped the car off a little over a month ago with a laundry list of things that were bugging me. The workmanship that was performed went above my expectations. Work performed included:

    * New windshield Mine broke while driving on the war zone of construction on the 15 in San Diego. It took a few months to get here from Italy, but my insurance company agreed to an OEM, including the anodized molding. Charged Safeco $3656. Me, $250 for my deductible.
    * Refinished all 5 wheels including the spare, pic attached.
    * Painted the plenum, no charge, pic attached.
    * Brush touched entire car including front bumper because of stone bruises, no charge, pics attached.
    * Took out stereo and replaced with a factory looking blank, pic attached, see other posts with a pic of Bullfighter's dash.
    * Bullfighter, I know you are not a fan of an interior redye, but after reading Verrill's post about what he did, I had to try it. Also, my car is not on the same level as yours. I bought a new drivers side door panel about two months ago after reading a post on here about a few 328's up north that were being parted. The leather on mine was seperating at the top and the holes in the leather were blown out where it attaches on the edge. Whoever Gary used to do my interior, did a really nice job, pics attached. Charged me $575 for the entire job.

Now, it is time to really enjoy my car.

    Regards,

    Josh Ferguson

Gary and his team did the work. They used the factory correct vinyl, same as the dash.

Really nice work! Any chance you can get a close up of the seats? I wouldn't mind seeing the dye job.

Everytime I see a 328 like yours I feel like my 308 is a Honda...LOL. I have a list too but I'm the one doing all the work myself so it will take a lot more than a month.

Looks very nice...keep up keeping her up ;)

    Josh,

Bobileff did a great job. Your car looks beautiful!

I'm taking the liberty to post Ol' Blue Eyes' original radio delete panel to show just how skilled the Bobileff team is.

    Enjoy your 328 with pride.

I'm glad you got that car, it doesnt look like the same one you purchased from Castle Rock a LONG time ago. I'm glad someone like you purchased it and has put it back to the EXCELLENT shape that its in now.

BTW, the guys that sold you that car went out of business and skipped town keeping the banks money and somewhere around 15-20 people are out of thier titles. It was in the news a while back.

Again, GREAT job on it, and I'm happy for you.

    Barry,

The pic in your post is one I took of Jon's car at Bella Italia earlier this year. His blank is from the factory. Mine was fabricated at Bobileff.

    Regards,

    Josh

    James,

I read about that on the board awhile back. I feel for those 15-20 people. Thank goodness my timing was good. I have my California title here at the house.

    Regards,

    Josh

    Duane,

As requested, here are the close up pics. I don't know how they did it, but you can see the grain of the leather perfectly. I thought it might look more "slick" or "plastic like". I don't have any good before pics of my interior, but it looked very "dirty", best way I can describe it.

    Regards,

    Josh

Thanks for the pics. Looks like they did a great job with the dye. Did they use Leatherique?

I'm not sure what they used but they did say it was a water based product.
