Hey guys, I need to replace the outer rear view mirror triangle on the driver side. The gloss black sections. I see lots of discussion on replacing the inner part with carbon looking triankles but my outer peice is a bit blemished and I need to somehow remove that. Does anyone know what it takes ot pull that piece off? Thanks alot, Danny
1) Remove the inner "triangle" trim piece (3 phillips screws). 2) Remove the three 10mm nuts holding the mirror onto the door frame. 3) Pull the mirror wiring bundle up from inside the door to reach the plastic connector, unplug it, and set the mirror aside. 4) Remove the single phillips screw holding the outer trim piece onto the door. Two minute job.
