Help please. I have previously raised this question without solving it. I have searched all recommended parts suppliers and read through the threads about alternative parts without success. The Ferrari parts suppliers tell me the switch no longer available and so does the local Australian Ferrari dealer. When I spoke to the local guy he said he has had many requests for the same switch but no solutions yet. Can anyone tell me where I can source the correct Ferrari switch or a suitable alternative. The closest switch so far is from a 1989 BMW 635 csi but it is not an exact fit and has different connections. Any help gratefully received. Thank you in anticpiation. Tony
Hi, I was busy rebuilding my original switch ('87 328 GTS/US model) and was almost finished when the last spring shot away and disappeared.... I also tried the BMW switch but it is totally different. I ended up 'tweaking' the original switch by inserting very tiny push switches inside the original switch connected to a circuit board with 4 relays.... It took me two days to get it right and I had to place the circuit board inside the door but... it works like a charm. If anyone is interested I could post the schematics. (it will take me a while though since I am out of the house a lot)
