Officers from Botany Bay Highway Patrol - City South detect 37 year old man from Sefton travelling at 200km/h on the M5. About 10:40pm on Thursday 21st October 2021 Police were conducting speed enforcement on M5 Motorway, Riverwood where a white BMW M3 was travelling eastbound well in excess of the sign posted 80km/h zone. The vehicles speed was checked at 200km/h whilst overtaking vehicles. The driver was stopped at Beverley Hills where he stated "I wasn't speeding." His licence was Suspended immediately and is now before the courts for "Drive at a speed dangerous to the Public" and "Exceed speed limit by more than 45km/h."
