The fabled and rare Studillac is the one you'd want.........and it's not a Bondism! This Hawk is too new though.
Each to their own,I like the Fleming connection but love the 428CI Caddy grunt and would look at a '66/67 again.
Timre I got stuck into getting the E-type reading for a run . Crook shocker on the back , easier just to buy 4 new ones then repair the current issue on one AVO alloy , just buy 4 x new Gaz ones Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
No idea re colour height, mine have an adjuster knob you turn. What is the spec of your car? Let me see how much I can get a set of 4 for you delivered to you. When I went shopping for mine I ended getting them through Classic and Prestige Bris at a huge cost difference compared to the three other quotes.
The ones I've got the alloy Avos are fantastic, but they have issues re the breakage of internal (adjustment bearings freezing ) and locking the shockers adjustment ,as I adjust if its wet there full soft and normal 10/20 on both bump and rebound .As you know I don't drive quick but I like the car to feel safe .
So these ones Klink? Did you also buy springs or fit your old ones as my springs are ok. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I got mine straight from GAZ - very cheap. I can't remember the actual price, but it was around $1,200 landed (with 4 springs)
They're OK. The mechanic initially set the suspension too low, and I had to up the damping to stop bottoming out. That gives a very harsh ride. I've incrementally raised the ride height three times since then, but I'm going to up the spring rate 50lbs and raise the front a touch more and back them off a bit. Very easy to adjust, though. When I get motivated, I'll whip them out and measure the spring poundage - I suspect they're not what I ordered.
Thought it was Melb, anyway, made a huge difference. Done twice now in 37 years. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
