all i did was mention journo's of the period prefered the 3.0l to a lambo or a BB.

Fact no 1: The Porsche 930 3.0l was the most significant Porsche ever made.

Fact no 2: The 308GTB was not.

as always you jump in the gutter and get on a personel level with insults.
1.Ferry Porsche said it was his most signifcant car
    2.A previous owner made the comment about a 930 3.0l to a 308
3.Mel Nicholls and many other period journos described the 3.0l as a supercar
4.The author Joe Sackey on this forum ,has 30 page plus thread on the 3.0l car,go read it.
    5.Your the village idiot comparing a car some 10 years more modern,against a 308.
6.all i ever said was it was a supercar of the period, never said in my opinion it was quicker then a 308.
So your the one whom has canned the car as a nothing car ,others with far greater knowledge (the above) have a different opinion, thankyou but i will take there opinion over a tryhard, are you a tryhard?

Just ignore him, like Phil, Rog and I do.

A lot of that is the VD talking.

    1. Prove it? But even if he did...it's called MARKETING
    2. That's right...and you posted his findings.
    3. Who??? You're taking notice of a journalist?? You have to be kidding.
    4. Who??
    5. I never did that...there's your comprehension issue again.
    6. You posted Bob's findings...which I agree with 100% You're arguing with yourself here.

It IS a nothing car. I've never met anyone who aspires to own one, and let's face it, why would you? The 3.3 is faster, stronger, better looking and freely available. Even the day it came out it wasn't all that sensational, whereas the 3.3 was an instant supercar and classic.

This I learnt from you. Until you came along, I didn't do it at all because it was against the forum rules and beneath me, quite frankly. I left it to phil and roger (and maybe myfazzman, who went a bit mental). However, you created a new low and I just followed. I only do it with you, though, because you're special.

    You're welcome.
