In the WTH? category is this parked in my street today: I *think* it's a Hyundai I40 but why someone would put Abarth and SVM badges on it has me beat! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Les Leston sure had a full life, the young'ns here won't know WTF I'm bangin' on about: https://velocetoday.com/les-leston-wheeler-dealer/

My first reaction was AAAGHH but it might be OK - the roof is a huge area and it looks the banked curves are unmolested (assuming you can still walk around them). Virtually no one bothers to walk up the ramps; which is a shame - truly one of the greatest pieces of industrial architecture ever.
How’s the weather Pat with TC Alfred edging closer and closer to the coast? Looks like the eye will cross just south of Brissy..
7 blackouts last night, all about 10 seconds - lots of trees around here and the circuit breaker resets after a few seconds to see if the offending branch has fallen off. The eighth one was about 9:45, and it stayed out. Luckily, we were just about going to bed. Enough pressure left in the system to clean teeth, etc. I had the genny all ready to go, but didn't bother. Power back at 11:30 and I got up and turned off all the lights. Looks like Alfred's been doing doughnuts in the Coral Sea last night, so gale force winds for a bit longer yet. Who knows where it will cross? About 50mm of rain so far.
Yep, nearly fell off the pool deck tying down the (new) spa cover. Then balancing on a ladder repairing the soffit on the back balcony - didn't fall off, but turned my back on the ladder when I got off and it blew over and nailed me. Getting too old for this handyman shjt.
...and I'm sure you'll remember when using your geny that it's 240 volt, not a nambypamby 12 where you get a little shock and swear so make sure you've dry hands and best not to refill while it's going!!
