lol...yep. Amazing.......4 years of mechanical perfection thanks to Black Stallion and the only oil leak it's had was fixed by Carl in less than an hour with a cheap oil seal, and it hasn't returned. It's so nice to have good people working on your car. No dramas....no rip offs and no recurring oil leaks! Just sayin'
What about replicas?. There were replica Ferraris there when I went to the Melbourne GP last time, a Series 2 GTO for starters. Pete
Some very, very nice sports cars at the GP today. Noise of the day predictably goes to the Matra. Both of them. The beautiful looking V12 engine that powers it is a work of art. Brute of the day clearly the McLaren M8, the engine in it looks like the size of a decent refrigerator! Thursday is a good day to attend, assuming you don't wish to see any F1 car action. The paddock sported a surprisingly non bogan European flavour with a few Japanese tourists thrown in. Not many attendees and you could walk around the circuit easily and have a decent viewing position. Well worth it, plus, the entry today was free! There will be an FCA display of cars (around 20, similar setup to last year with marquee) and parade lap on Saturday. M
