I went to Albert Park for 1st Practice with the new hybrid formula, and I loved the sound, despite the lack of loudness. They don't have to be loud for the noises to excite me
I was at the Laguna Seca Historics in 2004 and they had a few Ferrari F1 V12s running, the sound as they went past was of Biblical proportions. Mel asked me why I was crying
Fair enough. I think the sound - including the loudness - is a huge part of the excitement. I want to be half scared when they’re coming towards me. At the end of the day, fast is fast. They’re all fast. Can anyone really tell (watching live) that a car is a couple of seconds faster per lap than any another car? Fully understand. That’s what I want if I’m going to watch live. On TV, well, who cares.
The emotion that it is created by screaming engines is almost primeval. For me it was the sound of a Packard-built Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 Supercharged at full song, 450 knots 100 feet over my head.

Well since Lamborghini is at heart a tractor maker, I suppose this ^^^^ is fitting... Image Unavailable, Please Login
I’d have either, probably more so the tractor, purely on the grounds of practicality Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
