the joke is that there are any number of ICE cars that don't make a noise - Rolls Royce for example but also most big Mercs, BMW's, Lexus, etc.
The could copy the sound of some of the BMW and Mercs which sound like muffled flatulence and they change gear.

I think it is ok but not as beautiful as this : Image Unavailable, Please Login
If there was a list of the most beautiful cars ever made that car would rank #1 in my books....That's truely a work of art and it hauled arse in its day....
That era had some stunning cars but the Stradale wins every time especially the "production version" Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
let's take off the rose coloured glasses for a moment. The Tipo 33 in V8 guise is drop-dead beautiful, but it was a failure. It never won a race. The V8 engine was heavy and unreliable, if you've ever looked at one in the flesh, you'd be amazed at how a 2 litre engine got to be so physically large. It wasn't clever engineering at all. The Colotti gearbox was similarly heavy and unreliable - famous for failing in the Ford GT40's at Le Mans. Stradales cost more than a Lambo Miura or Ferrari Daytona - all of which were faster. Let alone the Ferrari 206GT, as quick as a 33 and also beautiful.
Just buy this then. https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1974-ferrari-dino-246-gt-manual/OAG-AD-17389042/?Cr=2
I was only talking about the beauty of the car against the German beast, mechanically the Alfa is interesting but who cares so long as it moves the body around ? I'd be happy to drive it into my garage and just look at it like a painting, don't give a s**t if it leaks oil
Nice piece about the opening of the Jim Clark museum without the B/S that follows him and Moss around. https://www.velocetoday.com/jim-clark-museum-opens/
