Its been 2 years since I last rode a motorcycle, no desire to with the vast amount of deadsh|t drivers on the roads these days. Interestingly, the top 10 road motorcycles sold by model are all Learner legal.
You’re right Both designed by Marcello Gandini of Bertone See above, lazy arse designer No, Steve’s right. They’re both ugly as well
Bah. Boxy, not well proportioned and rear end looks like it came out of the parts bin The Daytona was the muscle car....
Actually I think they both have a hint of Torana A9X in them, which overall looks better than either of those HOS’s.
to be fair Greg, in 1970 any car with 4 pipes hanging out the back was exotic in Europe. It didn't matter if it had Fiat tail lights. When the Jarama appeared it competed against the Ferrari 365GT 2+2 and looked dramatically more modern and tough, plus it had tons of road presence.
the Ferrari 365GT 2+2 also suffered from an ungainly long rear overhang - I think the Italians had cottoned to the US market demand for carrying golf clubs in their cars. The Jarama is a really, really good drive. I'm a Ferrari die-hard, but even I'm embarrassed by the 365 still using kingpin front suspension. They managed to gift a long car with very limited steering lock that made hairpin bends into 3-point turns. As for the Espada, it looked like something from a science fiction movie, the Ferrari like a 1957 throwback.
Shannons Sydney November looks like an interesting one.....saving a lot of good stuff until the end of year. https://www.shannons.com.au/auctions/2019-shannons-sydney-spring-classic-auction/
Hasn't that GT4 been for sale for ages - not many have had all the chrome painted black or body colour. Dino looks great in white.
Not sure about the Gt4 Jon as so many have come on carsales then disappear and reappear....I'm with you on the 246...I really like the colour...It's the first one I've seen in white....
If the Mini Cooper sells in that guide range, the one that I bought from Shannons was a bargain!....Not that I'd sell it....
