I just won this auction on fleabay, a vintage Holley inlet manifold that's been out of production since the 80's. It's the only performance manifold that will fit under a big block bonnet whilst retaining the air cleaner. Much lighter than the stock cast iron manifold and breathes better. Needs some restoration...

I had an Edelbrock on my small block Chev and I think it was aluminium

Do you know the condition of the donor car which was used,I suspect it would have not been all that old when he purchased it but it may have had panel damage.

Agreed re Quail though unless it was entered in replica class.

 

Those cars are of value to those whom built them but of no real value or purpose for anyone else. Must be a QLD thing, much like the WOFTAM F40 replica

No, unlike those other abominations, it wasn't a replica. It was a bona fide Daytona converted in period. I would have happily bought it if I had the means. Ian never misrepresented the car. Not even on the same level as those QLD ****boxes. Only a true enthusiast would understand

 

I'll bet when he turned at a concour/gathering he was asked if it was a real one,RHD GTS that is,by those that didn't know.

if I had the dosh I'd have bought Bill's in a heartbeat and driven it the way it was intended to be,but you would understand that...
