He must have a lot of time up his sleeve, I drive mine ...... a LOT !! The trouble with making a car that good is you WON'T drive it because you've invested too much time and money to really enjoy it . He would never take it on a GG because of the roads and conditions but I am envious of the meticulous restoration he has done .... I couldn't be arsed, to much happening in my life
Yes I agree with what you are saying JM. I just love seeing that stuff, I love clean shiny stuff. I'd really love 2 cars, one to flog, one to polish and a Panzer for the GG
I must me strange because I don't really like shiny, ..... preserved, but not shiny I keep my cars mechanically good, never spare any expense on the 355, if it needs a new whatever it gets it Elliott has done an incredible job and I'd love to give my car to him to do the same but then I'd have to sell it because I wouldn't want to mess it up or enjoy it as it should be. I saw Elliott on one of our morning runs in Sydney, his car was beautiful and he yelled out to me at the lights " must be rare for people to see two 355s together let alone one" Me being the usual cheeky bastard told him they've always seen 355 GTS's but seeing a challenge is rare Don't think he got the humour .... lovely guy though
