    Hi all,

I've checked parts diagrams, but can't get a satisfactory answer. My QV Euro is missing a hose on the expansion tank (the hose noted in the image). I'm guessing it directs pressure/overflow to ... somewhere? It looks to me just like a rubber hose that just perhaps dangles? But I don't want to risk not knowing that the other end should connect somewhere.

If there's a particular length, size, etc I need to replace this with, I'd appreciate any guidance. Hoping this is just some standard 1/4 inch hose or something from Autozone, not a $800/ft piece of rubber that is only produced by NASA.

    Thanks!

That hose is simply an atmospheric vent. The end of the hose terminates below the lowest frame member and allows the expansion tank to piddle surplus coolant onto the ground.

The hose goes straight down from the expansion tank and clips to one of the frame members. The factory hose is Cavis brand and is clear hose with a light green tint.
