The air filter box on my 1990 Mondial t has a 1/2 inch nipple on the bottom half of it without a hose attached. Anyone know what this missing hose might have been attached to? Perhaps removed as an emissions issue? Thanks, Wingnut
I see no hose on the diagram = https://www.eurospares.co.uk/Ferrari/Mondial/Mondial_3.4_t_Coupe_Cabrio/PartDiagrams/013/Manifolds_and_Air_Intake_-_Motronic_2.5
Actually 2 nipples, each just under the MAF's. Both have no hose attached. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Connects to the air inlet pipes. https://www.ricambiamerica.com/car-diagrams/ferrari/v6-v8/mondial-group/mondial-t/air-injection-device-for-cars-with-catalyst-motronic-2-7.html?mode=split
Thanks for the diagram - I have looked at this diagram before but don't have anything like the those hose connections on my engine now. Here is another pic of a hose going to nowhere that is attached to nipples underneath each of the large air intake tubes. My thought is the original connections were removed. That hose looks correct. The fitting you are holding without a hose should go to the oil filler neck. https://www.ricambiamerica.com/car-diagrams/ferrari/v6-v8/mondial-group/mondial-t/blow-by-system.html?mode=split Do you not have the air inlet pipe 141195 or check valve at all?
