I happened to notice recently that I'm missing one of the little plastic covers that snaps onto the bolt that secures the shoulder harness. It was there last time I cleaned out the car, and I've looked under the seats, etc., but it's nowhere to be found. Obviously, it's not something that I'm losing sleep over, but it would be nice to have a replacement. Does anyone have any ideas?

I'll sell you one of mine...

But you have to buy the whole car with it as a spare.

I've never seen one, anywhere, but did you try Dennis McCann? And Shaughnessy, keeper of all things obscure for Ferraris, might have one.

Thanks for the offer, Dave. I did try McCann and Superformance, but not Shaughnessy. I'll give him a shout. It's probably one of those little parts that was common to other Italian cars of that era.

    Dan,
I'm looking for one, too. As you said, not worth losing sleep over. But it's right 'there' (especially on a GT) & is conspicuous by its absence.
If you find a source, let us know?
My "source" is currently in Italy. I'll ask him if he can scrounge up a few & put your name on one of 'em, too!

Thanks Coop. Let me know if you find some. I'd be willing to get 2 or 3, just to have some spares. (As long as they're not more than 25 bucks each) :)

I haven't talked to my Italian connection yet, but I've spotted some covers that might work. My car is not readily available to check the likeness of the parts. However, if your car is near, can ya go to the website & do the comparo for us. Two styles of covers are offered. One is for the harness bolt & one is for the floor bolt. They are different, but the "Shoulder Harness Sash Guide" ($15 each) includes a cover that might be close to the one depicted in the Bodywork Spare Parts Catalog.

    Thanks for checking these out.

I think I know what you guys are looking for. The belts were Klippan and the part that goes over the bolt was common to the Klippan belts also used on Alfas, BMW 2002s, etc. Heck, there's a set of Klippan belts for a 2002 on eBay right now that has the caps you are looking for. Buy the used set, keep the caps and resell the belts.

    Cheers...Keith

That's a great tip. I'll check in some junkyards before doing the Ebay thing. Thanks!
