Trying to piece together my door trims and I discovered that there seems to be a screw missing that attaches the outer plate gasket on the door to the outer plate.

I conclude this because there is a corresponding receiver hole in both the rubber gasket and the outer plate.

However when I look on the pictorial diagram.. It's no where to be found.

And without a p/n the local Ferrari dealer is unable to help..

Can anyone tell me if a fastening screw is meant to go there.. and if so what are its dimensions and thread pitch/type ..?

    Thanks in advance

I but a whole bunch of different size machine, screws in black oxide from McMaster carr theyidentical to what was in there. so now I have a toolbox with roughly 30 different sizes for various places in the car, wheel tubs, trim etc. I used the wheel tub screws and measured for start then went up and down in sizes and length.

When I refinished my triangles, there was no fastening hardware at that location, only the two screws that hold the triangle in place.

Yes that was my gut feeling.. that there was nothing there from the factory.
That's why it doesn't appear on the pictorial diagram.!
The fact that there is a "hole" for a screw in the rubber suggests otherwise though.. I mean why go to all that effort in the rubber moulding for no reason?!?!\

When I rub a "needle pin" inside the hole.. I couldn't feel the "bump bump bump" tell tale sign that there is actually a thread there..
Maybe its too fine.. and cant be sensed.

Not sure what to do now.

Another confusing issue is that on the parts diagram the upper and lower screws for the triangles have different part numbers

    #36 15915877 Screw
    #37 15915977 Screw

It just makes sense to have some fixing screw there to stop the top of the rubber from moving around..
Im thinking would a "dowel"l be better..?

Get a cocktail stick and cut the point off, put into the hole and use a fine screwdriver to press against the threads, it should pick up the threads pitch which you can measure, probably metric fine

Could've just been a plastic push pin, not an actual screw. I don't see any threads in that first pic...

On the 348, the top (self tapping) screw through the inner plastic "triangle" goes through the hole on the rubber and threads into the hole on the outer triangle. Looks like this hole is not used on the 355 (and the gasket probably comes from the same mould).
