Hi all-I am missing the rear fender liners on my 308. Are there alternatives to the original items, maybe by creating a mold off a pair from a complete car? Or sources out there? No pairs available on ebay, and cant find any in the classifieds....

I am at the tail end of putting this car back together. The engine has been fired, as of last week. Trying to tidy up the last bits and bobs before making it a roadworthy car! Thanks for any help or tips.

Thanks for those options, folks. While I fully recognize the irony of pleading for financial mercy while restoring a f#$%ing Ferrari, spending 800-1000 on two plastic or fiberglass liners, just, well, stings. I'm WAY underwater on this car, and have taken a lot of kicks to the ummm, shins? on it, and thus am looking for sensible places to cost save. maybe this one isnt one of those places.... I'll make some calls around and see what I can find.

They would be fairly easy to make yourself if you could find somebodies to copy and make a mold.

Agreed. They are not complex, nor particularly elegant as GRP pieces go.

I bought mine for my GT4 from GT Car Parts and they were not crazy prices. Have patience calling and ask for Bill. They initially sent me the wrong ones (likely for a GTS/B) which I didn’t realize until I had them cleaned and painted so they should have a nice pretty set on the shelf [emoji6]

The originals are very basic fiberglass construction, chopped fiber, not fancy at all . You could remake something with similar or better quality, but the challenge would be making or mocking up a mold.

I just saw on Facebook there’s a group Ferrari 308 GT4 Dino, etc. shouldn’t be hard to find that is parting out a 308 in Florida. It has some fire damage. He just posted it today I believe you might wanna look into that

Yeah, saw your car for sale on eBay with BHCC. It presented very well in their ad. Sorry to hear you sold it. Best of luck Kim.

Man I wish they made these in aftermarket and they were plastic instead of fiberglass. The fiberglass can be a PITA to get back in properly.
