Mistral door handles

Hi,
Does anyone know whether the outer door handles on the Mistral are interchangeable with any other car? I think they look similar to the Alfa Giulietta of the period, but have not been able to verify.

I might need one new, or at least the key lock cylinder for the driver's side. Any suggestions?

I have not yet bought the car, but will probably in a week or so, and it will need some new parts and a light restoration. Will update with a thread as soon as the car is in my garage.

 

Do they look like these? These were up for sale . Maserati seem pretty keen on the period Alfa parts so they might fit but I'd be putting the two parts right next to each other before buying the parts. Or part out a Ferrari 250 since they seem to be the same too!!

Yes, they are absolutely identical. So, they should not be too difficult to find on eBay.
But I would be interested to know if they are made from Zamac or brass? In the later case, rechrome them is pehaps the best solution.

The 3500 GT/GTi and Mistral have the same door handles of the Giulietta.
But there's a difference in the right one (the passenger door) .
The Maserati's door handle has the key slot in the button, while the Alfa's one doesn't.

Then it will not be difficult to get hold of NOS ones.

 

The passenger door handle of my Mistral 3.7 has no key slot, but a plain button.
This door can only be locked in pushing the internal door handle to the front. Alain

 

This is a Mistral spyder, I know very well this unmolested car, and as you can see there's the key slot in the handle of the passenger door .
