Hasselgren Engineering is finishing up the rebuild of may 4 liter Mistral engine and the question has come up on where to locate the wires that came out of the fan clutch for the radiator fan, left, right, up or down? Can anyone give me some guidance as to where those wires should be lead back to the engine?

Here is a picture showing the location of the clutch wires. THey come out at 90 degrees to the left side of the car. All of my 6 cylinder cars have this location.

Many thanks for the info and the picture. This should help Hasselgren Engineering do the proper location.

FYI Hasselgren rebuilt my Bora engine 20 years ago and it has been flawless. I have driven the car over 30000 miles and on several long trips and it has always run great.

I've dealt with Hasselgren Engineering on a number of projects and their professionalism is outstanding. If you need engine work and are in the area or are willing to send your work to them you will not be dissappointed.
