groan, heater valve stuck on open. good for winter. found a new one at T Rutland! damn lucky. trouble is. the thing is carved out of a solid block of gold
When I brought my 400i home in 1998, it had spent its entire life in Texas and southern California. I doubt that the heater valves had ever been opened more than a handful of times. Naturally we needed to replace the broken and stuck levers but the valve itself was fine.
Came out of California. one tiny rust spot around park light. If I remember. Brett sure is doing a beautiful job. Lots of stuff to do on an old car. Things just get old😞
Heater valve is for the 365. It bolts to the rear of the LH club. Head. Valve came in. Wrong😞. Back to the start line. Again. These last little bits are tough
I've just picked up on this thread for the first time. It's a beautiful job you're doing. Thanks for sharing it.
in garage. nice and warm. trailer driver did not know how to start the car so flooded and ran battery down. so it was pushed into the garage. keeping the 550 company. car is truly beautiful. picture does not do this car justice. no even close. Outstanding! Just wait until the engine gets broken in and then for the first time you do the 3-4 shift at 6800 RPM.
see all that white stuff.. rain today and for the next three days should get rid of snow and salt. I am being very careful.
today. I will try to start it tomorrow after I ask Brett for guidance. hood opened after the ice melted. heart skipped a beat. I never thought I would own anything as beautiful. WOW!! I just stood there mesmerized. thank you Brett, grin will not go away
