wow...that's about all I can say. Really a fresh shape for the period I guess.
Can't see it being worth 100k though. Would it even be worth that finished?

I want it, I like those 'odd' cars :D

....not sure about that price though, have no idea what something like this should be valued at? Due to 'huh?' factor, hard to price it, lol!

    Parts car.

It says no engine but it does have a Miura transaxle. WTF?? If it has one, the other must be there as well.

If the Miura parts are all gone it's worthless.

No, not to my knowledge, it was simply a concept design.

I would even guess it never had a Miura engine in there, too expensive already that time.

Colani was and still is a great self-promoter! He always claimed to be the best, the most visionary designer worldwide!

His contribution to this planet was always paffing a cigar, using thick white pullovers and insulting anybody! A maniac but sometimes a funny one!

ah...btw - only very few of his designs of all kind made it into reality! Most of his potential customers prefered to leave as fast as they could......!

    Ciao!

Wow, the Miura scrap-heap surfaces again. I think those cracked and severely weathered magnesium wheels will have the tensile strength of paper and the porosity of a sieve (seriously, I could probably break them with my bare hands), and that engine block after sitting outside for so many decades is surely similarly affected. Neither are items I would invest a nickel in restoring for any purpose other than for display. I think their days of providing transportation are over.. The spinners would be ideal paper-weights though.

Interesting only from a concept/art aspect.. I suspect that would be a nightmare to restore and finish (even just to drive it down the block- once).

Does anyone know where the car currently is (ignore the eBay location for now) or where the photos were taken? I ask because the both the pickup and trailer have Ontario plates which may leave this gem in my backyard somewhere. I'm not an interested buyer but if it is close maybe I can go check it out for someone.

I thought the other thread by Joe Sackey, that he may be part of the ownership...

It was simply in the Miura thread.

No I have no connection at all, the folks who have it (in Indiana) simply passed me the info and I posted it. I shared it with my top collectors and there was no interest. Shorty thereafter it appeared on EBay.
