Someone has kept it well polished....

The first time I saw this car was in July or August of ‘68 and it was parked to the side of the Islero production line on the factory floor. At the time it was painted a light metallic blue and it had a white leather interior; I’ve got some shots of it somewhere I think. I sat in it and concluded that a standard Miura seemed nicer. I’ve always wondered how rigid the car actually is.

Has anyone ever driven it in it’s zinc mode?

I saw this car in the flesh about 2 or 3 years ago at Gary Bobileff's shop. Needs some TLC. I'd buy it and restore it to its former glory if I had big $$'s. Looks better in these pictures than in real life.

Mark: Could post your pictures if you find them? I'd love to see them.

A very nice one-off, to have in a large collection, of cars from that time period.

I think the Berlinetta looks much nicer.

I saw it and i much prefer a regular Miura than this one . First the color is terrible , then that leather belongs in a S600 pullman and those wheels are ugly.

Not such a fan of the color, but I do really like the tan leather. VERY classy.
Glad to see it's still around. It seems many cars of that era did not even survive.

I think I would prefer to keep it like it is.

The blue Roadster no more exist, ZN 75 is still alive.

It's better to have the original ZN 75 than the rebuilt Roadster.

... but do understand that this point of view could be discussed !

    Regards,

The roadster still does exist, somewhere underneath that zinc uglyness. Don't know if you have seen ZN 75 in person, but it is really an ugly, sad looking car.

I guess in the end it does not matter, because I don't expect to have the money to buy it and restore it, but it's neat to have the debate!!
