    Hi all,

a friend of mine has a Lamborghini Miura P 400 engine and would like to sell it.

How much is such an engine worth - including gearbox - and is there a demand for such an engine?

Thank you very much for your help.

    Best wishes

    Manfred

    Just a guess, but I'd say $40K to $50k.

Try Colin Clarke in England. He does most of the Muira restorations. He did mention to me last year he was looking for gearbox bits, possibly your best chance as he would also know lots of people with these cars

they will be closed on Monday as is a Public Holiday over here

And NO, NOBODY - except the owner - has the "hands on it" - Mr. Nameche

The engine is still for sale.

We do respect your privacy - would be great if others could do the same.

    Dear Manfred,
I believe you misinterpreted my sentence...

"I put the hand on it" referred to the offer email I've got directly to my email box and not from you !

Look at my 1st post !!!

This is the reason why I posted the pictures and shared informations.

I've no interest in this engine and I've let it know to the knowledge of the undermentionned person which was sending it to many people as I can read all the attached emails addresses...

I'm neither a broker nor a money maker in Lamborghini cars and this Forum on which you advertise the engine is a "tool" and an information "plaza" on which everybody can exchange... as it has been done in the past and will be done in the future !!!

Hope you will understand the spirit shared by our Lambo Community.

    Kindest regards,
    Olivier NAMECHE
